HOW TO BID
 

Learn how to bid at bid2buyonline.com by following these easy steps

  1. Only REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS are allowed to bid in live auctions. To become REGISTERED PARTICIPANT you need to register with us - Registration Form. Please remember Username and Password you have entered in registration form as you will need it to bid in our e-Auctions. Please note that REGISTERED MEMBERS are different from REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS.

  2. After registering as REGISTERED PARTICIPANT, you will have to pay Caution Money Deposit (CMD) for each individual auction. The amount of CMD to be paid is flexible and you will be given a bidding limit in multiples of CMD paid. For e.g. If you pay a CMD of Rs.10,000 and you are allowed to bid 10 times of CMD, your bidding limit will be Rs.1,00,000.

  3. On receipt of CMD, your Username and Password submitted by you at time of filling Registration form will be activated and a unique bidder-id will be generated for you for each live auction sale no for which you have paid the CMD.

  4. Our Auction Calendar section gives you details of each Public Auction and e-Auction. On the date and time when auction is scheduled enter Username and Password to login (if you have paid CMD for any e-Auction on that day).


  1. Click on the Live Auction link on the top menubar.


  1. On the Live Auction page, list of Auction Sale No scheduled for that day, for which you have paid CMD, will be displayed with your unique BidderId for each Auction Sale No.   Click on Bid Now button given against each Auction Sale No, to bid in that Auction Sale No.



  1. Please note down your BidderId for each Auction Sale No

  2. On click of Bid Now button you may get a message "No lots are currently on for bidding" if bidding for next lot has not began.

  1. On entering the Auction room, you will see list of lots of that Auction Sale No currently on for bidding. Use the Refresh Screen button to see latest best bid price before entering your bid. Select the Lot No in which you want to bid.


  1. Enter Your Bid in the box provided at end of the lots.   Your Bid has to be more then or equal to Best Bid + Min. Incr. (minimum incremental value).


  1. Click on Submit button to enter your bid.

  1. If your bid is accepted and you are the highest bidder for that lot, then this image will be displayed next to your bid in Best Bid column.


  1. Personalise your auction page - An unique facility has been provided for bidders to view auction lots of their choice. On click of button Auction Lots in Auction Room, you will see list of all auction lots currently on or scheduled for the day. You can select a maximum of 5(five) lot nos to view on your auction room. Click the check boxs provided next lot no and then Click Go button   E.g. By default you will see the first 5 lots up for auction. To see Lot nos. as per your liking - 1,4,7,10,15, use the personalise facility. When any of the lots selected by you ends, you can go back to Auction Lots to add another lot no.


  1. Auto extension of auction lot end time - Our E-auction system has this Special Feature to extend auction lot time end. It gives all auction participants enough opportunity to enter their bids and get best value for auction products. The system will AUTO extend 3 (three) minutes of bidding time if any bid is received within last 3 minutes of defined lot end time. This auto extension will continue as long as bids are received 3 minutes prior to auction lot end time.

  1. To view Auction result go to Auction Calendar and if result for the auction is declared "Click To View" column will have Result link.
